A crew of nearly two dozen firefighters from the Susquehanna Hose Company were called to Webb Lane shortly after 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, when sheds and fences - including some owned by Christ the King Church - suffered fire damage.

It didn't take long for firefighters to get the blaze under control, but not before the flames did upwards of $5,000 in damage.

According to the Maryland Fire Marshal, the owner of a property near the church was burning leaves and trash in a fire ring when winds blew the leaves into multiple back yards of neighboring homes, including two sheds on the church property that suffered "moderate damage."

No injuries were reported.
